About Me
My name is Lisa and I am a mother to 2 girls. Evie was born in 2005 and Daisy in 2007.
Following the birth of my first daughter I felt that I had really achieved something and although some problems occurred they were relatively minor and on the whole the experience was a positive one. From speaking with friends, family and other mothers I realised that this was not always the case.
I became passionate about finding out how I could help other women have more positive experiences of labour, childbirth and those early weeks adapting to life with a newborn baby. This led me to researching into becoming a Doula and where I could find out more information.
I have qualified with a Professional Doula Award Level 3 endorsed by CACHE (Council for Awards in Children’s Care and Education) through Eastleigh College and www.babyonboarddoulas.co.uk. I am also registered with FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators), have been CRB checked and am fully insured.
